360HR Solutions is a proud to share an article published in the North Shore Times on 20 April 2017 announcing exciting news for the DANII Foundation.
The government has committed $54 million to roll out continuous glucose monitors (CGM) to type 1 diabetics under 21 years.
This is a result of years of lobbying to the government by the parents of Daniella Meads-Barlow who was discovered dead in her bed in November 2011, after her blood-sugar levels had fallen so low she became unresponsive. A CGM could have saved Daniella’s life as it would have detected her lowering blood-glucose levels and alerted both her and her parents before it was too late.
360HR Solutions is a proud supporter of the DANII Foundation, with 360HR Solutions Associate Patrick Cameron working closely with the foundation on their fundraising efforts.
The foundation is currently delivering an education and awareness national roadshow to 17 locations across Australia, and holds several fundraising events during the year. The annual DANII Foundation Jelly Bean Ball will be held on 17 June 2017.
